Julia Sanderson, musical comedy star from the early 1900's to the 1920's was born in Springfield, Massachusetts. She began her career with the Shuberts and became a star under the management of Charles Frohman. She also worked with Charles Dillingham. Some of her most famous roles include, THE SUNSHINE GIRL; RAMBLER ROSE; HITCHY-KOO and TANGERINE. She married Frank Crumit in 1927 and retired from the stage in 1928.
